Grilled Flank Steak with Soy Sauce marinade- Thit Bo Uop Nuoc Tuong Nuong

Make 4 servings
  1 1/2 lb flank steak
  2 medium garlic clove, finely crushed
  2 Tbs soy sauce
  1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  1 Tbs dark brown sugar
  1 Tbs honey
  1 Tbs red wine vinegar
  2 Tbs vegetable oil
Combine all ingredients and marinate beef for 2 hours at room temperature up to 8 hours in the fridge.
   Preheat the grill to medium high .   Grill  5 minutes on 1 side.  Turn over and cook 5 minutes more or cook to your liking. Transfer it to a plate and let it rests 10 minutes. Thinly slice steak and serve with your choice of side dish.
    In a small sauce pan, combine the remaining marinade with juice from the steak.  Bring it to a boil then simmer a few minutes until the sauce lightly thicken.  Transfer to a small bowl and serve with sliced steak.
