Pork Burger with Coleslaw and Asian style Barbecue Sauce


2 burger buns:  sesame or onion

Pork patties
   12 oz ground pork
   1/2 tsp sesame oil
   1/4 tsp salt
   1/2 tsp sugar
   1/4 tsp black ground pepper
   1 garlic cloves, finely minced or crushed
   1 small green onion, thinly sliced
Combine all ingredients and form two patties 3/4-in thick.  Set aside

Coleslaw
   2 cup of shredded cabbage and carrot
   2 tsp vinegar
   1/2 tsp roast sesame oil
   2 tsp sugar
   1/4 tsp salt
Combine all ingredients and toss well.  Set aside

Asian Barbecue Sauce
   1/2 Tbs ketchup
   1Tbs hoisin sauce
   1/4 tsp grated fresh ginger
   1 tsp vinegar
  A pinch of  five spices (Chinese or Vietnamese style) 1/16 tsp is plenty
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.  Set aside

Spicy mayonnaise
2 Tbs mayonnaise
1 tsp sriracha sauce
Mix sriracha sauce with mayonnaise, taste and may add more to your liking.

Grill pork patties with a indoor grill for 8 minutes or until cook through (no pink in center).  Toast the buns if you like, spread 1/2 mayonnaise on the bottom bun.  Top with a burger and brush a layer of barbecue sauce on the burger.  Cover with coleslaw. and the top bun.
